Anne C. Reichman Obituary (2008) - Overland Park, Kansas

Anne C. Reichman, 98, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008 at ManorCare of Overland Park. Graveside services will be 11:00am Tuesday, May 13 at Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. The family suggests contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice. Mrs. Reichman taught elementary school in the Center School District for 17 years before her retirement in 1976. She was a member of Kehilath Israel Synagogue and was a former member of Hadassah. Mrs. Reichman received her BA in French from the University of North Dakota, her BA in Music from the University of North Dakota Conservatory in Violin Performance and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Iota honorary music society. She later received her Teachers Certificate from the University of Kansas City in the 1950’s. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Emanuel, in 2000 and a sister, Frieda Nunberg. Mrs. Reichman is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Allan and Nancy Reichman; grandson: Michael Reichman; granddaughter and her husband: Mara and Mark Lambert, all of Overland Park, KS; sister: Sara Lee Chetlin, Pittsburgh, PA.
