Fannie Frances Fogel

Fannie Fogel, 96, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Shawnee Gardens. Graveside services will be at 10:00am Tuesday June 1 at Shaare Sholem Cemetery in St. Joseph, MO. Burial will follow. Kindly omit flowers, the family suggests contributions to The National Federation of the Blind, The Jewish War Veterans or Congregation Ohev Sholom. Mrs. Fogel’s passions were her family and music. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She learned to play piano as a child and played for over 90 years. A true pianist, she loved to play for her family and her friends at the nursing home. She was a member of Congregation Ohev Sholom. Mrs. Fogel was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 28 years, Hyman; brother: Frank Agranoff. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Rita and Joseph Brown, Mission, KS, Ellen and Larry Shindler, Westwood, KS; grandchildren and their spouses: Heath and Gina Brown, Ericka and Brian Brooks, Jeff and Stephanie Landie, Ryan and Jaime Landie, Suzanne and Ed Forbes; great-grandchildren: Haille Cooper, Adrian Brown, Sarah Landie and Matthew Landie. Mrs. Fogel will be greatly missed by her family and all of her friends at the nursing home.
