Marie Nussbaum

March 10, 1920 - August 24, 2014

Marie Nussbaum, 94, formerly of Prairie Village, Kansas passed away peacefully on August 24, 2014 at Sweet Life of Overland Park. Graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery, 6900 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO, 10:00am Wednesday, August 27, followed by burial. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions are made to either Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care or the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City. Marie was born in Baldwin City, Kansas to Edith Weeks Rohe and Henry Rohe. She attended the University of Kansas and worked professionally for several printing companies. Marie was always welcoming to her friends, neighbors and extended family. She was fond of cats and adopted several during her lifetime. Marie was predeceased by her husband: Leo Nussbaum; two daughters: Cheryl Linton and Caroline Rabinowitz; two sisters and a brother. She is survived by her step-son, Rod Nussbaum of Tokyo Japan, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
